Halep recovers the number 1 of the WTA Ránking. Cibulkova is 30th with 1610 points.

     The Romanian player, Simona Halep has managed to recover the first position of the WTA ranking with 7965 points relegating to the second position, the Danisk and current champions of the first Grand Slam of the year, the Australian Open, Caroline Wozniacki who has been a month in the first position, a position he lost after losing the final in Australia to the Nordic tennis player, currently in second place with 7525 points. 

      The third position and therefore the "podium of champions" is for the Spanish, Garbiñe Muguruza with 6175 points, first in the world ranking, last year until she was relegated to he second position by Simona Halep. 

     The fourth place is for the Ukrainian, Elina Svitolina, current champions of WTA Dubai with 5480 points while the positions of the 5th to the 8th that give access to the Shenzhen Masters, at the end of the year, are occupied by the following players: 

        5th Kristina Pliskova (Czech Republic): 5080 points
           
         6th Jelena Ostapenko (Latvia): 5000 points
       
         7th Caroline Garcia (France): 4625 points

         8th Venus Williams (USA): 4277 points 



         Our Slovakian tennis player, Dominika Cibulkova, occupies the 30th position with 1610 points after reaching, this past weekend, her first final in 2018, specifically, at the WTA Budapest.
